This is not a series worth your time!! Blacks migrate from the South to Compton, CA for a better life. Whites don't want them there. (Nothing new about that theme!) They experience racism and racial trauma. (Also not new.) This Amazon series fuels hate crime fantasies in those who would want more than just an occasional African American shooting. Just a point, we would never see a Jewish series were their pain would be displayed to fuel more gore, horror and trauma than they have already experienced. Black people suffer injustices daily. We don't need to relax in front of the screen to leisurely watch our pain being played out only to call it entertainment. AMAZON PRIME IF THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO, I'M CANCELLING MY MEMBERSHIP!!

The simplicity of the characters is compelling.

I could not get past the extreme brutality at the beginning of the movie. This is not what I call entertainment!

This was not what I was expecting after the great success of The Sopranos. The young Tony character wasn't great. Ray Liotta played an okay role. So happy that I didn't pay money to see this movie!!

Downton Abbey meets Succession and they have a baby.
