WOW!!! Unlike some reviewers, I looked at my watch when the movie was over and wondered when the movie would start. That is 2 1/2 hours of my life I will never get back. Without question, WW84 is one of the worst most boring movies I have ever seen..... and I have seen a lot. I watched with my wife and my son. Oddly enough, the three of us never ever agree on the time spent and the overall impact of the picture. On this one, a day later and the three of us are still really pissed. We were so looking forward to this movie. We all loved and adored Ms. Jenkin's first attempt at this character. What the hell happened? Other than a pathetic fight sequence at a mall (Dianna's talents were completely wasted on a few idiotic thieves), we don't even get to see WW for about an hour. You know you are wasting your time at a movie when you are watching your watch more than the screen. I am pretty sure I have seen every super hero movie ever made and this one barely qualifies. The critics that are praising this movie really need to closely examine their reviewing process. Again, there are simply no words to describe how unwatchable and utterly devoid of any entertainment value this thing is. It kills me to write a review like this but I am really "wishing" this picture had never been made. Shame on Patty Jenkins and Warner Brothers for subjecting us to this drivel. She may be a great director, but this POS is certainly no proof that she knows her way around a script. I would blame the writers for such a pathetic script but apparently, Jenkins was one of them. All the money in the world could not get me to ever watch this nightmare again. When will the reign of terror at the studios end? Their upper management really needs to collectively take a screen writing course. You want to make a rom-com, fine but never think it is alright to make one and call it an action/adventure story with a super-hero spin. You really ruined my Christmas evening. No wonder it's on HBO max.
