This movie was absolutely amazing. They handle the talk about periods really well - which is something rather “progressive” for disney. It really dives deep into asian generational trauma, much like Encanto did, and shows that kids will be kids, and are their own people. Sometimes you have to let them have the space to grow into who they want to be. Very girl power-esque, and it definitely reminded me of my exact feelings growing up. Very emotional and heartfelt. I could watch this movie every day for the rest of my life and not get tired of it! I loved the animation and the art style, and I really appreciate that they kept the pandas stylized and cute. Made my little furry heart so happy <3
