I was very impressed that, after 35 years, the Maverick sequel carried the same theme and felt a lot like the carryover it was meant to be. To me, it was an excellent theme and sequel. Even the F-14 Tomcat still had a major role in the sequel at the end. As the original Top Gun, it had plot, it moved at a fast enough pace to keep attention, and was very well done. A++
