This movie is a typical Liberian civil war story. Pharses, songs and some scenes are unique to the Liberia civil war. If you know the story of the Liberian civil war or Liberia rebel leader (turned president) Charles G. Taylor, you'll will know that this is a Liberian war story. I could hear a typical Liberian accent from mainly two actors/characters (Hope, Rambo and Preacher) and the rest were Ghanaians and Nigerians.
Over all, this is a Liberian civil war story and credit should've been given where it is due. I survived it, so I know.
