Cassidy Leigh (Casssss)

This is probably the Disney movie that has officially lost a customer. The movie itself had beautiful visual and effects, the voice actors did an amazing job getting into character but aside from that this movie lacks true art. The story line is plagiarized and recycled off so many old movies meshed into one they should probably be sued. In addition to that, it seems Disney tried to focus so hard on not killing off a character’s parents for once that they latch so hard onto adult propaganda. This movie welcomes child abandonment, poor communication, alcohol use, a “perfect” relationship and also has an lgbtq agenda. The parents are seen making out on several occasions, there is zoom and focus on the characters butts during dance scenes and they brought the gay characters relationship up multiple times forcing it into the movie where it really held no value. It’s very clear Disney is pushing a narrative in their movies and is okay allowing children to see whatever, in their opinions, should be normal.

As a parent all you can say is WOW! Parents be warned, watch before your kids do. The adult humor was too much. This movie should honestly be rated PG-13 not PG. The graphics were good, and the voice overs did a phenomenal job fitting the characters. The movie it self seemed like recycled material from every other movie you can think of. There were references to Garfield, play on power rangers and even an Annabelle scene. The adult humor seemed to try to bring one back to kids 90s shows where it was subtle, this was anything but a subtle movie when a CHILD points out all the bad language, a murderous kitten, referencing “hell” but in “heck” form. Seems like this movie is trying to push a narrative just like all the Disney movies these days. Extremely sad!
