First of all, a 1 star is required and is a little generous in my opinion. This 2 hour and 18 minute long movie has you trapped in your seat only to realize how numb your ass has become. If your into Lady Gaga, I'm sure you'll love it. Joaquin does a good job of singing as well. Especially, being that he is not a singer. This movie was pretty much billed as a musical from its inception well over a year ago. If you have reservations about seeing it because of that, go with your instincts. They have some how taken a master piece and crapped all over it. The movie literally has you asking yourself over and over again, why am I still watching. I kept watching to hopefully see some Joker action which we have all come to expect and love. Not gonna happen. Save yourself the time and money. I don't even think I could recommend you watch it for free. Yes, it is that bad.
