Sooooo much potential, I was always waiting for the amazing bring it all together moment, making the sob stories worth it. But alas the concert wasn’t great, felt rushed and to my untrained ear really pitchy. Really struggled with understanding why there were so many solos for a choir, is that the norm? It felt like there was hardly any singing as a collective and what there was didn’t blow my mind. Final gripe is that there was a real push in the first few episodes about diversity but it wasn’t that diverse, at all.
