If I could give it zero stars I would, there are plot holes in this movie big enough to drive cars through. The love interest made no sense. The morals of the main character were asinine and hypocritical. It seems like they pulled every cliche from every vampire movie/show and threw it all together in a jumbled mess that couldn’t even entertain a child. The main character’s brooding and morose demeanor is grating and eventually made me root for the villain who was ultimately a more colorful and consistent character. Spoilers: Also in the end the main character who became a vampire thorough scientific means somehow traditionally (through blood sharing, only a drop mind you) turns his female love interest. Since there were three vials of the serum shown I assumed that the MC would turn his love interest with it despite all his whining about his “curse” which would be consistent with his constantly spiraling moral compass. Not to mention the poor bats in the torment nexus (an improper holding container with no shaded areas or landing spaces for rest) are never released and I assume are still trapped to this day.
