Been a fan of Dragon Age for a decade, and this game is a huge disappointment. It's like Bioware forgot how to write and execute a story. All of their strengths in character writing, world-building, and romance are completely absent. It has flashy colors and that's about all I can say for it.

It is shocking to me the same people who wrote HZD made a sequel that was so thematically bankrupt and narratively dissatisfying. What a waste.
