The Rat Patrol is fun if not a bit unrealistic. The interplay between Col. Deitrich and Sargeant Troy, Christopher George, gets a bit tiring but what else can you do in the desert. George is excellent as the tough and hardened leader of the Rat Patrol. I do like the show but find it less realistic than shows like COMBAT and 12 O'clock High.

I love COMBAT!! Brings me back to my youth and Sgt. Saunders, aka Vic Morrow, was my hero. So sad the way he died. But, great series. I watch every Saturday nite.
