As a fan of non-fiction, I really enjoyed this book! I appreciate that the early parts - as told by a child - were in short snippets, just as a child would remember things. The ending and epilogue were very touching. Thank you, Barbara! (P.S. I'm a retired firefighter, hands-on mechanical type, and not someone you would expect to read this type of book. It was very interesting and moving. My first online book review!)
