I have in the past found the show to be well done. However, today's episode ended with a "funny segment" of using a Fake Support dog as a gimmick to keep a pet in an apartment. I am a disabled veteran who has had a trained service dog for the past two years for legal blind issues. During those two years I have had to protect my dog from Fake service dogs at a VA hospital and the Smoke Mountain federal park. Fake service dogs are slowly creating problems at restaurants, transportation, and other public places. This has in turn created a fight for those of us who have and need a legitimate trained support dog. Your show is watched by millions and up to now respected by most as great theater. However, openly promoting the skirting of federal law regarding service dogs not only harms veterans and other who use them for the comfort and freedom they allow, it increases the danger of future blocking of the free access to public places for the disabled and it also increases the possibility that a disabled person or their animal could be harmed in a confrontation. I believe that you need to find an effective way to apologize for your poor presentation of the lawful use of a trained service dog or even better have the one on the show thrown out of the apartment and the owners arrested and fined! Now that would send a great message! Might even get Congress to finally address the problem of fake service dogs as well.
