I absolutely loved this movie from start to end. Okay so it's all about the Indian cricket team and how they faired in the 1983 World Cup. So after that sentence, half the world will say no way am I going to watch what is a very long movie, about a sport that no one understands. Particularly the fact that in a regular test match two teams can play for 5 days and get a draw! Well in truth it doesn't matter one iota if you know nothing about cricket, and you don't even like sport, because this is one of those really feel good movies, that sure to tug at your emotions. Yes it's long, but the time passes very quickly, and even when it ends, you want more. I have to take my hat off to the film editor who did an outstanding job of intermingling real footage from the day, with that which was shot for the movie. It gives the whole episode more credibility, not that it needs it. You probably wont know any of the actors, but it doesn't matter. This movie really is a must watch for the whole family.

I loved it from start to finish particularly as it starred the beautiful Olivia Cooke who I first saw as Norman's love interest in Bates Motel and then in Vanity Fair. She has such a way about her, that her characters command attention when she is on the screen. This is a very violent and irreverent movie, similar in a way to Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. There is never a dull moment, the plan changes every 15 minutes, the scenery is magnificent, and it's a load of fun and death from the start to the end. This is a must watch movie........

I hate to say it, but I thought that this was without doubt not only the worst James Bond movies, but also one of the worst movies I have ever seen. If you are a true devotee of Bond movies, then do yourself a favour and give this one a wide berth. It's impossible to follow the story, there are far too many chase scenes, and it's a "film noir", being so dark all the time. I have never really enjoyed Daniel Craig as Bond, as I never thought he was suave, or sophisticated enough. All of his Bond movies were similar to the "Bourne" movies with Matt Damon, just car chases and fight scenes. However, they at least had story lines that one could follow. I appreciate that there will be many people who will think this a great movie, and possibly the best Bond one ever, but I'm sorry to say that wont include me.

Can someone in authority please change the style of clothing that Natalie and Edwina wear. Most of the time they are wearing dresses which are totally unsuitable for a "MORNING" show. They are too long, they are too tight around the neck, and to wear either black or white is a NO NO. These gorgeous girls should be wearing bright colours, with nothing around the neck. As for Natalie wearing long dresses, now that looks silly at 5.30am. This morning Edwina is wearing an all black outfit which is far too oppressive for this show. Natalie is wearing some very strange outfit in black and white, which is far too fussy. Take a look at what the girls wear on "FOX". They have smart simple brightly coloured dresses that enhance their looks. So please take some advice, get rid of those fussy long outfits.

I cannot believe that people actually rave about this series. I have just watched series 7, not having seen the previous ones. This is most certainly not a typical slick American detective series, it's more like "Days Of Our Lives, or a bad soap opera. The acting is so stilted. Titus Welliver who plays Bosch, never, and I mean never once smiled. His character is so dour that you want to stick a rocket up his behind. He just stands there with the world on his shoulders and has absolutely no go in him. Lance Reddick who plays the Chief Of Police looks as though he's straight out of Westworld, as he walks just like a robot does. He and his wfie have their first baby, however, even blind Freddie can see that it's a plastic doll of some sort and bares no resemblance to a real baby. Apart from Mimi Rogers the majority of the cast look as though their best years are far behind them. To me, this is a third rate series and should never have made it past the first episode. The story line was pathetic, the characters were weak, what more can I say...........

It's obvious from the reviews below that this is somewhat of a polarising film. Of course it's not accurate, of course it bends the truth, and naturally you my find yourself thinking, well how did he do that? So don't even think like that, think more like this being an "Indiana Jones" type movie, and you. will thoroughly enjoy it. You may feel like turning it of after the first 15 minutes, but don't. The real action begins when our hero reaches Egypt, and he has an extremely arduous journey to his final destination. This is a big production movie, with a good cast, and it will allow you to escape reality for over 2 hours. So sit back, be educated, and enjoy the ride.
