An informative and historical movie detailing the unknown story of the “lady spies” recruited by England’s Special Operations Executive (SOE) during WWII. This movie is heart-wrenching, traumatic, intense, and thrilling sometimes. I was amazed at what a group of diverse women were able to accomplished. Noor was unbelievable, often terrified and chased but she was relentless in getting messages over the wire. When captured and tortured, she gave the Gestapo nothing. Virginia was a no nonsense spy. Denied of being a diplomat several times because of her disability – prosthetic leg as a result of a teenage hunting accident, she persevered. Her determination was unmatched. I did not know about this story and I was just browsing Netflix and came upon it. I love the story and all those women are heroes.
