It is not often you hear the sound of keening in life, let alone depicted in film or drama and especially not from a male actor, it was shattering. This dark, gritty drama was not the detective series I had presumptuously thought it would be and was left at the end stunned, silenced by what I had watched before the wave of emotion hit. K-dramas circa 2021 are a lot more than the enjoyable fluff of yesteryear.
