I have always enjoyed watching the Today show. And I also enjoy watching Hoda and Jenna in their 3rd hour. But today, the hosts said some things that really bothered me, enough to make me not want to listen to their show anymore. The hosts were naming the the most disliked Christmas songs this year. They all laughed at Craig’s review of Mary Did You Know. He stated; “Did Mary really not know?? And then she had the baby, did she still not know”? And they all laughed. Really? That is not the point of the song! If she realized she was pregnant?? C’mon Craig and others. Please don’t mock one of the most beautiful Christmas songs (at least to Christians) on National TV, especially when you are so ignorant to its meaning! Terrible! More ignorant comments were said about “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”. Hoda said it was weird, and Savannah thought it stirred up inappropriate images in her mind. Santa is the dad!!! It’s a cute, classic song. Why does the media have to distort everything?? These are the things that are wrong with people in the spotlight. Their options should be neutral! Not sure I want to watch the Today show anymore. Maybe GMA will be a better choice.
