Hey, liked the concept of episode 5, the clever solution, and have enjoyed the show so much. And since I grew up watching the original Star Trek... I will keep watching the Orville hoping for them to take themselves just a little more seriously. I don't expect to agree with every aspect of the show. HOWEVER, no Star Trek would have so glibly included a machine gun battle resulting in multiple deaths, without even a real plot development necessity, or any apparent concern over those deaths by anyone. Where is your real understanding of a hopeful and positive future evolution of humanity?
