I’ll give this fantasy movie a 4 just because it has engendered a lot of commentary and made people think deeply about its main fantasy premise that “men are dying out.” This , of course, is not a REAL possibility. Thus, we are left to ponder this fantasy film’s premise : would The world be a better place if only women existed ? To this I say obviously NO! Your father, a man, gives you all sorts of wonderful things but he is not your mother, a woman, who gives you other things just as important. And the child learns these key differences in the sexes as he/she grows up.

Robert De Niro is solid and charismatic as is Anne Hathaway who plays a female entrepreneur who doesn’t seem to think too highly of her parents generation . Very enjoyable and pulls at your heart-strings .The premise of the movie was as basic as it gets: Showing the younger generation they don’t know as they think they do. Here, the Boomer Generation turn the tables on the Millennials by teaching them a thing or two about life.
