I have just finished watching this, it took me 10 days. Those who gave this 1 star, I get that nothing will be everyone's cup of tea but they simply can't appreciate how brilliantly this has been written & produced. The cinematography is beautifully done. There is depth to every single character. The music is so well placed and every episode has a slightly different feel to it. It evolves in waves, something is revealed or a change happens but then you get to run with it for a while before you get that feeling somethings not quite right again, it makes you question if you've missed a detail somewhere but then you get an "ohhhhh" moment and everything shifts up another level or sideways. Not once did it feel like they were trying to drag out a story line or worse spew everything out in the final half half of the final episodes of each season. The whole thing ended exactly when it should. I think this is one of only a hand full of series that I've properly sat & watched every single episode without getting bored or distracted. If I didn't have real world priorities I would happily start watching again because I know it will be even better the second time.

This has taken me 4 attempts to get past the first 20 minutes because it was so bizarre and not enjoyable at all. This afternoon I decided to plough ahead mainly due to such polarised views and it being on my continue watching list. Well, i'm glad I did. Emma Stone is a joy to watch & fantastic with the development of Bella over the course of the film. I can't fault any of the characters actually. Definitely not for the prudish or closed minded!! It's a delightful journey of a film with beautiful cinematography. I'll really appreciate & enjoy it even more when I watch it again.

Tried watching this on Netflix, glad I didn't pay to go and see it as I turned it off after 20 minutes. If you have sensory issues around noise I would avoid this like the plague! If the story line was more engaging I could have maybe coped with the fact every other scene has at least 2, 3, 4 or more characters talking/shouting over each other instead of having a conversation, BUT the music....who the hell thought that putting weird 70s style sci-fi music in the background (more overlapping than background actually) every time things get heated was great production must be some form of sadist. I was like being trapped in a room with a bunch of screeming toddlers bashing the s**t out of drum kits.

We all know that one person who you avoid like hell because when they say they've got something interesting to tell you you end up stuck there for an hour listening to them droning on when they could have told you everything in a fraction of the time.....thats what this is like. If you have 3 hours and don't have a clue how the mind of a pyscopath works, then go for it. Other than that just Google 1 boy 2 kittens and read a couple of news articles, you'll get more information and less likely to fall asleep.
