Two stars only because the cinematography, location setting, and costumes were beautifully done. I did also really like the portrayal and actor selection for Charles. Everything else was pretty terrible. Bad storyline that makes Diana really out to be an emotionally unstable brat. The media frenzy around Kristen Stewart’s portrayal really did this a disservice. The movie was way too long, so by the end I was just sick of seeing her overly sulky expression because that’s ALL SHE DID. Wanted to walk out and ask for a refund but mostly stayed just so I could write this review with full confidence that I didn’t “miss the best part”.
