Although it gets bonus points for not copying the original, the first film makes so much more sense. The fact it takes place right before Halloween adds a creepy mood as well. The importance of the the crow and its direct link to a human soul is lost in the remake. I wish I could resurrect this movie to make the wrong things right. 😕 If you haven't watched the original you may enjoy this mayhem.

Simply put, Krampus is a well done horror movie that embraces everything about Christmas....with a few things we DIDN'T KNOW. Very few movies mix horror and Christmas that are even worth remembering. This is one of them. Scary Christmas everyone!

This film is like trying to fit 2L of milk in a 1L carton. It won't work. Scenery aside there is too much going on and as a result you don't get invested or care about the characters. If ya like westerns, roll the dice. If ya can stay awake till the end you might find some redeeming moments.

It borrows unique camerawork and no music for suspense but following the killer around gets old real fast. But certainly decent for a low budget slasher. Jason Voorhees would approve and appreciate!

Great superhero movie with enough action yet emotionally touching in spots as well. Films that deal with time travel are always cool because the rules or outcome of messing with it are endless. Watch for a cool CG cameo!

Decent movie with a somewhat typical storyline about a soldier that finds a situation that changes their life amidst the brutality of war and conflict. Johnny Strong actually plays a Seal well and there are some cool gun handling moments that those familiar with firearms will recognize. All in all a fair watch even though very predictable outcome. A higher budget would have helped the film but it still gets the job done. Also an interesting dedication at the end.

Awesome return to a great horror franchise! The motive behind the murders is kinda thin but a great new cast keeps ya watching. Better than 3 or 4 in my opinion. If ghostface asked me my favorite scary movie right now I'd say scream 5! A frighteningly good watch!

Awesome sequel that kept me guessing who the killer/killers were! I set the bar low but was pleasantly surprised. I think the master Wes would approve! R.I.P Mr. Craven and thanks for ghostface!

Just started watching and stumbled onto it by accident but I love it! Decent attention to realism and solid acting make it a great military drama. My new addiction! If you watch seal team or Flashpoint this might be for you!

This is one of the best modern Christmas movies around! It addresses the magic of Santa and has a really different take on how he does his miracles that night! And at the heart of the movie is a touching family story where sadness is replaced by hope and love.
