An amazing series that infused the many facets of human nature; about forgiving and forgiveness, regret and repentance, hard work and dedication, respect, survival, love and sacrifices. A real look at humanity through humanistic stories brought to life in a deftly-directed and well-scripted manner; in a setting we can usually only imagine about. The actors were amazing and they made me fall in love with each character; their personalities, their habits, idiosyncrasies and all. I love that it was about baseball too! Well researched and with an in-depth take on life in general and prison life in particular. Bravo!

I love criminal investigation and law series. It's build-up and the way the plot weaves in and out with some tension is done well enough to keep viewers engaged and waiting in anticipation. The actors were superb in their roles and brought depth to their characters. Highly recommend it to those who love this genre.

A unique way of revisiting our youth and youthful ways; deals with daily life of family, friendship, neighbours, student life and its universal challenges, matters of the heart and hardships, love and relationships and everything in between. Elements of my own youth revisited here as I was a 15 year old in 1988. So many events, scenes, gadgets etc. from that era which brought me back down memory lane. So relatable! A must-watch on anyone's list of K-Dramas.
