Unicorn Dreams

You have to watch this movie with an open mind if you have no knowledge of Indian culture. I was a bit turned off (not sexually- just in general) by all of the sex and looking at young children. It’s soft porn. There’s also underage sex/prostitution. That’s frowned upon in my culture but seems to be okay in Indian culture. I did however like the story and even cried on a lot of different parts. I wasn’t prepared to care deeply about the characters but I did. That proves that the story and acting came together very well. The only reason I’m lacking a star is because SPOILER ALERT ….. someone dies who I didn’t want to die :(

I don’t know why I never gave this movie a try but I’m glad I did. Just finished watching it and I was locked the entire time. I even cried and got emotional multiple times. I love it so much. This is a perfect of love interest being in kid movies but not over the top and inappropriate. Amazing movie but to be honest, Dreamworks never disappoints. My 15 month daughter wasn’t intrigued at all though but she watched Bee movie through and through, back to back. So I guess maybe this is for kids a little older? Even though Bee Movie is too grown for me. Just pointing out a comparison for parents.

No sure why people keep saying it’s addicting. It’s not in the least. I finished mainly because I heard there wasn’t going to be a season 2 so I like to finish shows. I’m 27 so I don’t know what kids do nowadays but this was weird if I put myself in my high school shoes. It’s overly sexual for no reason. I enjoyed the acting and the cinematography. The story drags on wayyyy too much. It’s like Pretty Little Liars. You’re wondering the whole time “where are their parents” “when are we going to find out what’s going on” I am not a fan of things just happening until the last episode. Each episode should be revealing and it isn’t. A lot of people don’t like the Beth character and even though I don’t like this show, her character makes sense. Again, too grown for her age but I’m assuming this is life now. All of the TV shows are having HS kids way too grown. It’s a really boring watch. I didn’t learn anything which I don’t like. I hate it here 😂 also someone said everyone should watch this. NO! This is too adult for children!

At the beginning of the 3rd season and I want to stop now because they aren’t getting smarter and that is really annoying. That’s why women aren’t great in crime lol. They are outsourcing and using other people and it keeps making them being held back. They have had thousands, I’m pretty sure millions and continue to be broke? That’s why the rich don’t like the low and middle class now. Mindset and ethic all off. Very interesting show but now it’s just redundant. Loved the first 2 seasons though.

A lot of the rated 1 stars are because they are lineman’s or know someone who is a lineman and see it as unrealistic. If a whole association backed up this movie then I think you can look past that… I can’t say for sure what is and what isn’t “realistic” because I’m not a lineman nor do I know any but this was a good movie. Very drama-filled but they skipped over a decade of Bailey’s life to show the present. So it make sense that it will capture some negative moments. John Travolta’s character- Beau is amazing to me. I could definitely see why Duncan would admire him. Even before he “put his life on the line” for Bailey. He’s strong and knows his job. The only thing I didn’t like was the Ron character but I understand it needed to lead up to the “event” The acting is good and believable. The characters are easily to like and the story is easy to follow. I like that it mentioned God once and left it at dad. I’m a believer but I don’t like when shows/movies overdo it. I also loved the ending song! It made me cry lol. This movie showed me that linemen die far too often to not be appreciated. They definitely have a very hard job and I thank you if you’re a lineman and reading this.
