Not sure what was this movie about.
The story started interesting. A 5 year old boy, a talented poetry writer and a kindergarten teacher wanting him to succeed in a crazy world of addicted to social media youth, where nothing of a value can be found. (The last scene with a boy in a closed police car wanting to tell another poem in a view of her teenage children.)
Or was it about people with unsatisfied lives who try to live up to their dreams in others? "In a couple of years you are going to be just a shadow, just like me".
Or, maybe about the youth social media society starting joints way to quickly? (Too short episode for that, although this is a real problem now, which, I wish, was told about in more movies made for teenagers and politicians alike. Trudeau had no clue what he was doing with legalizing marijuana with the exception of getting votes. He did not prepare the education system for that).
And the kidnapping of the boy? This is not looking for lost dreams, this is obsession.
And, why was she not faithful to her husband? To 'discredit' her obsession? What was this about? Mental issues?
Seems like the trend in Hollywood now to show discredited characters in every teenage series with no example to follow.
Acting 5 out of 5.
2 out of 5 for the movie despite the rewards.
