I have read the Napoleon biography, "Napoleon the Great". From this I gathered that Napoleon was a passionate and energetic man, in battle and in day to day life. Who through superior strategy and tactics outplayed and ultimately won the majority of his battles. The film falls short of this greatly. With a morose and pathetic portrayal of Napoleon. I think one of the worst parts about it was failing to include Napoleon's beginnings and climb to be selected as general. Would not recommend, poorly structured story, poor acting for the most part, an underwhelming film of an obviously imperfect, but great man.
