I am amazed at the positive reviews. I am amazed most of all by the gross insensitivity to male violence against women, as a large part of the initial transformations of the protagonist, were a male version of her husband, repeatedly hitting her until she complied. Most of the following scenes she was bloodied - -as if, in such a supernatural film, that was necessary! Then the film zeroed in on Jamie Lee Curtis' stomach as it it itself were some vile symbol of evil. I was relieved and not surprised to see the end credits, that the movie was made by all men -- if women had done something like this, I would have puked.
