Star Wars feels more like Marvel than Star Wars any more, which is sad. This season had some flashes in the pan. Episodes 5 and 6 had me thinking things were actually going to get good, before being let down. The Nightsisters have potential, as would Baylan's character if I believed it could actually be seen through from here. This series inspired no interest in any of our main characters, unless you were willing to be satisfied by simple Rebels fan service, poor writing, and little sense. I'm not even sure who is supposed to be the protagonist, honestly. Thrawn seemed cool until they made him seem perfectly harmless and easily outwitted in the last episode. Perhaps Filoni should stick to writing and directing children's cartoons.....
