I downloaded Ravenlok from Game Pass on a whim, and ended up finishing it in one session. That's usually a sign I've enjoyed a game. It reminded me of a PS2 title, in a way -- both the good and the bad.
The whimsy and imagination was there, the game is gorgeous in its design, and the music is great. The gameplay was a bit simple, both in combat and quest design, but I enjoyed the relaxed pace of both.
The biggest issue for me was the camera, which has limited rotation and could sometimes result in enemies going off screen with no way to bring them back into view. I understand the technical reasons for this, but it was still a bit frustrating in boss fights.
Ultimately, it was a charming game that I'm glad I spent five hours with.
