To start, I am not some ALM reactionary. I'm a liberal exhausted by your nonsense... Top Chef is a meritocracy based competition. For the love of god stop complaining about the race of it's winning chefs. Asian Americas are 5.7% of the population and 25% of this show's winners. If you've watched this show you know that any of these great chefs are capable of failing a challenge or just having a minor mistake on a day when everyone else was a bit more on point. So according to the narrative in your heads, at least 4 judges are coming to a group consensus, on Bravo of all networks, but are somehow conspiring against brown people? Again...ON BRAVO! Because we all know how intolerant and racist Bravo is right?! And Padma is part of this? Its the standard of those judges and the quality of the cast and its winners that has completely legitimized this show on a professional level that is rarely seen in reality tv. That legitimacy further feeds a likeliness to attract better chefs than if it was just another reality tv joke. Its drawn some of the finest chefs on the planet to guest judge and occasionally offer their restaurants for season finales. As soon as you start sacrificing that standard to conform to an equal demographical representation in its winners you sacrifice the quality of the show. Stop with the petulant expectation of an equality of outcome. Its not a conspiracy. Youre whining for a token victory or else you'll 1-2 star this show..."Take that, Tom!" 🙄 Some of you people need to figure out how perspective works and how to review things. If you've watched 15+ seasons of something and you're giving it 1 star you're either stuck in an iron lung or sick in the head.

I cant help but think that the overwhelming majority of people that like this game are 16 and under. Any experienced older gamer is going to immediately see through the pretty vista/world design and have serious problems with the shallowness of the rest of the game in every respect. I havent been this bored with a game's combat in a long time. The dialogue is truly insufferable. And dont listen to all these people raving about the character creation. Its the perfect analogy to summarize the rest of the game. At first glance theres a lot going on but ultimately its all smoke and mirrors distracting from its fundamental mediocrity. Wait for a sale if youre still on the fence.
