This is just a feel good romantic soap opera with nothing much happening except for endless dates and separation. For Indians this kind of matching and rematching and remarriages is totally beyond ones understanding. Except for MickO Brien (the patriarch) and Trace, no one shows any depth of character. No idea why Megan leaves her home and comes back abruptly but ends up marrying Mick again. This was the silliest part in the series. Most of the time Abby O Brien, the first daughter ends up doing long sighs, or looks despondent. There is no sense as to why she leaves her boyfriend and goes and marries someone else. Any individual would respect and give space for their lovers career and growth but not Abby O Brien. She does not care and is quite self centred. She has an affair with Jay and ends up getting engaged to Evan probably because he is wealthy. The only character couple who make sense and are downright like normal people is Steve and Sarah. The grandma is all the time cooking and giving advices and the family is forever eating muffins, treacles, and ice creams. Jess throughout behaves childishly clapping, hugging, running maybe to make the viewers remember she is the youngest. Bree seems through out the series confused not knowing her goals nor her men. Connor is the other nice person in the series but unfortunately the way he is portrayed it looks as if he is gullible and has no lawyer instincts. Yet he manages to stand on his two feet and one needs to appreciate his sense of fairness through his treatment of his.partner, Margaret and his fighting for the underdogs. After a stressful day, it is good to watch this series mindlessly just allowing the incredibly beautiful settings soothe you. Personally, it was not to my liking. Anyway should not expect much from Hallmark.
