This poor excuse of a game spends most of it time romanticising and rationalising the disgusting whims of a pedophile. Nabakovs, Lolita at least has the pretext to show the reader that Humberts fantasies are that of sick delusions and the twisting of reality. Unlike this game which tries so hard to push the narrative that their love was so pure and so far out of reach that the cosmic force of it couldn’t be understood by mortals. It’s this factor that really irks me, this game could of been an amazing slow burn thriller/ murder mystery game ( it certainly has the elements : deserted hotel, mysterious suicide, creepy landscape ) but instead it takes us through 9 incredibly tedious, incredibly looooooong days of slowly piecing together a mystery that the gamer already has the answer to ( btw the answer is that the dad is a nonce ) and has us flounder around this mind numbing cycle of finding evidence of the grooming and then wilfully ignoring it. All in all it was a torturously slow and repetitive game that only succeeds in making me also want to fling myself off the nearest bloody cliff like Rachel. This game is a waste of money if you are interested in it save yourself a few bucks and watch it online don’t bother playing it. If I could give this game a zero I could, but I can’t so I give this a one star.
