It lacks the quality and nuance that has become standard for the rest of the DC franchise.
The writing (by Heath Corson) was dismal in terms of character development and honoring the well-established superhero mythos. By example, Wonder Woman, a passionate, intelligent, knowledgeable, and wise goddess of immeasurable powers was presented as a two-dimensional, primal dim-wit with only one interest: fighting. Her dialogue was akin to “Hulk Smash!” Likewise, the other characters, save Batman and The Flash were written with little respect for their comic book origins.
This movie was made to entertain 6 year olds and it wasn’t even fair to them.
