I'm honestly shocked this film is so well regarded, it essentially shows the toxic stereotype of a predatory lesbian and the toxic stereotype of a selfish cheating bisexual. Carole shows no romantic interest in Delphine, but Delphine keeps kissing Carole and guilt tripping her until Carole changes her mind. Carole then treats her boyfriend terribly, refusing to leave him or stop seeing Delphine even though her boyfriend is very much not ok with this arrangement. How anyone thinks this is a sweet romantic story is beyond me. It is visually stunning and beautiful to look at though.
