Luc De Villa

I've got no issues with the creative license they took for storytelling, the essence is there. But I am disappointed still. It lacks something. I don't know if it's acting, directing, editing, or CGI, but it lacks excitement, mystery, the sense of wonder. Maybe the tone it has taken is too dull for such an energetic and charismatic bumbling fool that is Luffy and the gang. The source material was goofy, maybe I'm expecting the adaptation to at least have that element there. It's not playful at all. Or maybe just the editing. I don't know if it will grow on me, but I'm disappointed with the first episode.
