Great author,love his books,suspense,humour,sex,and very few boobs.Only one I recall was on page 380 of The Maze.If .38 bullets really were “steel- jacketed”,I fear that the rifling in the barrel would be ripped out after half a dozen shots!All jacketed bullets are copper-coated—-a soft ,malleable metal that moulds itself into the rifling grooves but doesn’t damage them.
