My opinion a C+ movie. Not as good as the original but most remakes aren’t. I honestly feel like the acting could have been better. The actresses who played Ursula and Vanessa did a great job but other than them I wasn’t impressed by anyone else. Halle has an amazing voice and I enjoyed her version of Part of your World. Ariel’s costumes were also disappointing especially at the end. Was looking forward to the sparkly blue dress but unfortunately they chose to leave that out. All and all it was a cute movie but it didn’t give me the goosebumps of the original.
