I am always surprised when I hear the budget that Hilary is given to accomplish the multiple renovations that the homeowners require, but they will give David a massive budget to find a new house. They know what miracles Hilary can make happen, so why not give her a reasonable budget to do what she does best. Nine times out of ten they end of loving it, and they still have to contend with the things she wasn't able to renovate because of budget constraints. It just makes no sense!
