After many months and months of putting the second season and this movie of chunibyo off, I can finally say I have finished it all. And it was a really wonderful trip. If you continued this far into watching this movie, then I'm sure you already know how much serotonin this show just gives. Everything about it; Rikka, Yuuta, the rest of the gang, BANISHMENT THIS WORLD shenanigans, it all just makes you feel so happy inside. A reason why it took me so long to watch the second season and this movie of chunibyo is because I honestly thought the first season was perfect and should've ended there. Like really the first season will honestly be on my top five seasons from a show. I just adored and loved every second of it. But at the same time I wanted to see more. I wanted to see how the rest of the show would pan out and ultimately see the finale to a great series. I'm not gonna lie, I think nothing from this series will top the first season but even then this movie was a pure delight to watch. I think a reason why I love this series so much is because a lot of what it shows can be translated into our everyday lives, especially Yuuta and Rikkas relationship. In this movie we really do explore more into their relationship and see just how more complicated it is than it seems. Rikka scared of losing her magic abilities, has to choose whether to continue loving yuuta or throw it away to continue being the Third Eye Master that she is. If we translate that to todays world, I think a lot of people would find themselves in the same place. Do they put their past self behind them and start a new life with their partner? Or do they decide it's not worth being in a relationship and stick to what they know in being?? This movie will leave an impression on you for how well it tackles these questions. I really don't know what more to say about this movie. It's great. It's cute. It's what you would want out of a chunibyo film. And it is a perfect finale to the series. It's just really nice seeing how strong Yuuta and Rikka's relationship is. Gives me hope that there is someone out there for me. But yes, please watch this movie. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my review into consideration on whether you should watch this show or not!!!! Yes. Do it. Watch it. 100x yes. I cannot recommend this show enough. Let me give some background information on the kind of anime watcher I am so that maybe you can relate to and in that way feel more compelled to watch this show. I’ve been watching anime for a couple of years now. Didn’t start seriously watching it til this year to be honest. I watch a lot of slice of life animes and I’ve watched most of the major animes like demon slayer, JJK, etc etc. I really haven’t ever watched any kind of mecha anime before so 86 was a really new kind of genre to me. But yeah that’s just some info on me. Now onto the review: I write this review at 3 a.m. moments after just binge watching all of 86. And let me tell you, it was the best experience you could have with an anime. The story behind this anime is just top notch and the character development and animation are just truly truly amazing. I’d go into this anime blind as I did so that you really experience the anime as everything new. The first couple of episodes you may feel overwhelmed with information and not really know what’s going on- THATS OK. You eventually will learn about the setting and things will become much clearer. But also don’t be afraid to look up some information for yourself. A lot of times I’d read summaries of episodes I’d just watched online just so that I could really understand what was going on. This is a story you’re really gonna want to understand just because it’ll make the experience so much better. The music for this anime is also just super top notch. So many beautiful songs are played throughout the show and it really helps with getting the waterworks going and making you feel certain ways. The OPs from both seasons also really slap so you know that’s always a good sign. You will fall in love with these characters. And you’ll also have your heart broken. They do a really good job of fleshing out who each character is and before you know it, you’ll just love them so much and want nothing bad to happen to them. This show was just so great. This is one of those kinds of animes that will leave you thinking about it after you’ve watched it. It’s just very heartwarming but also so so sad at times. I think I especially liked this show because I could relate to the main character so well. Please give this anime a try. Having it be a mecha type anime might scare you off but it really is much more than just that. It’s about friendship and loyalty and purpose. I promise you’ll love this anime.

This is the first review I've ever written for a film publicly but I loved this movie so much that I just had to write one. "Everything Everywhere All at Once." A film that absolutely left me speechless in how it is presented. I think it's safe to say that I have never seen a movie like this and I honestly don't think I'll experience watching another movie like this. I'm sure many viewers had a similar experience as me during the first 30 min of the film. A bunch of random stuff happens leaving you absolutely perplexed at what you just witnessed. A guy beats up 4 security officers with his fanny pack. A FANNY PACK FIGHT SCENE. There's just so much stuff that happens in this film that absolutely makes you question what you've watched lol. BUT IT WORKS. For me, at least, it worked. Things were random but it made sense why they were random. You know when you hear about a show or movie being so good and after you're done watching it you're like "ehhhh it was alright. OVERHYPED." Yeahhhhh that's not this film lol. This film not only met my expectations, it blew them right out of the park. I really will never forget how this film made me feel walking out of the movie theater. Psh I won't forget how it made me feel as I was in the movie theater. I went to watch this movie with my sister and my sister knows I never really cry for anything. Yeah no she saw me straight out bawl my eyes out to this movie. I was kind of embarassed actually because I was doing like the gasping kind of heavy crying lmaooo. But yeah this movie really hit me hard. And although it focuses on a mother and daughter's relationship, I couldn't help but think about me and my dad's relationship. What a movie. Please please please go watch this movie. If there was one movie you had to watch in 2022, it would have to be this one 100%. *(ok but sidenote. I read some of the one and two star reviews this movie has and all I have to say is that this movie will not appeal to everyone. But I mean that's a very normal thing to expect I feel. Not everyone will like the very fast paced, trippy visuals this movie entails. BUT THAT'S OK. I think it's safe to say that majority do like this film so I'd hope you would too)
