I loved reading this book. Having lived in Hollywood, the author shows a unique knowledge in his storytelling, which is easy-to-read and follow. It also flows like a well-played film so you can really relax into the story as if you are a fly on the wall. There are two main characters. Helen, the lonely romantic who wishes for romance in her life and to be loved, and Lillian, the spirit of a long dead movie star who seems to grant Helen’s deepest wish. At first, everything seems great as Helen finds herself enjoying unexpected male attention from some of Hollywood’s elite. But soon we realise it becomes a true battle of life and death between good and evil.
