Just bad. Two blacks walk to a white town rubbing a bank and get away.
Coping from other viewer and it says it all: It's just so bad.
Regurgitated drivel, considering that this film is a work of fiction, all be it with names of real historical people, it feels like every western stereotype has been mangled into this awful mess. A strong black cast which is awesome but feels like a film written to please white viewers or worse white executives. With overly obvious Tarantino vibes in fact at times it feels more Tarantino than Tarantino does but in a grotesque caricature kind of way, it’s trying way to hard and is poorly written.
My main objection is if you’re going to use names from history then surely you should tell their story, especially at a time where it would be amazing to learn about strong black historical figures be them good or bad. NETFLIX! You’ve missed what’s important here me thinks.
