Hilarious how the documentary is triggering and seemingly infuriating obvious Trump supporters. I didn't make any connections to Trump other than the slogan "Make Germany Great Again". But truth is truth. You don't really have to try hard to make the parallels. It just is what it is. I think in general United States is put on blast for being an inspiration for how to systemically oppress a group of people. The blunt irony and hypocrisy of it all is obvious though. We know good and well what was going down in the states at the time was nothing to be proud of. The doc gets 5 stars for revisiting this history in detail and following the path of what led to a country spiraling into such a barbaric, twisted, evil, chaotic path. If you don't know the truth of your history you may be doomed to repeat it. That is why we must retell these stories. (side note: anti-semitism in Germany existed far before the first war was lost and before any actual extermination plan/ "final solution")
