If you've read the books then be prepared to be disappointed as none of the TV show characters bear much resemblance to the book characters, not in personality nor physical appearance. For example, Will is missing his trade mark lip scar and is actually quite chatty, Angie is nothing like her book self, you might even like her, Amanda and Faith are of a different ethnicity, I assume they'll skip basing an episode on Criminal as it does rely a little on Amanda and Evelyn's racism. All of the story lines have been mangled. The whole plot line from Undone/Genesis has been changed so that the victims are male! I could go on, but .... once I realised they were simply borrow scraps and dribs and drabs from the books and gave up expecting my expectations to be met I actually quite enjoyed then show and will carry on watching.
