A few of the scenes in which the cast suddenly bursts into song-and-dance seemed unnecessary and broke the film's continuity...But overall, it felt honest and thoughtful, and the performances are stellar...Worth seeing and maybe even singing along--quietly!

DUMBO is sweet, has moments of quasi-suspense [I mean you know he'll end up okay, right?] and a fast-paced storyline that keeps kids and adults interested....It's enjoyable and invokes good values about fighting back against tyrannical leaders in an era of reaction and general complacency...
