This movie is absolutely terrifying. Recollection of childhood fears feel almost unquantifiable. The memory itself is a physical, full-body sensation. How vulnerable you felt when there was no one there to protect you from the shadow in your closet is incomparable. Skinamarink presents it perfectly and made me feel as vulnerable as a child again.
