I enjoyed it! Reading through the reviews, I get the sense that those who are leaving bad reviews have either never seen the tv show, or it’s been a decade or so. I’ve been watching it lately and yes, the acting on the TV is over the top silly, especially Herman. The update wasn’t perfect, but how can anyone expect to live up to Free Gwynne. I thought it was a good take. Someone else in the reviews said something like how are people supposed to know who Gene Kelly and John Wayne are, and just wow.
