At first it was confusing. Once it started jelling I found it ok. When Katherine Hepburn appeared as a character I was smitten!!! The scenery was beautiful. The story unfolded

The star is really the infant born towards the end. Absolutely adorable swaddled baby🥰 The movie is about grief and loss. The characters show how damaging behavior looks like when we don’t grieve and accept tragedy working through it appropriately. The movie’s description doesn’t tell viewers this but perhaps should.

They bring the family dog flying down a wild river and he isn’t wearing a life vest!

I wanted to love this movie. But it got very sleepy. The featured daughter that Joe Black is attracted to is SO SOFT SPOKEN I can’t watch anymore. I think her character is weak and boring. If her voice would resonate i would continue to watch. But she’s driving me absolutely nuts with that personality of female extreme meekness.
