No skips on this album! Musiq and Hit-Boy are a match made in heaven. The production is crazy, and the stacking, runs and harmonies give me CHILLS, especially on “is it love, is it lies,” “beat of a slow dance,” and “imreallytrynaf*ckwichu.” I hope that there will be a vinyl release or merch—I’d love to support. This is definitely one of his best albums and it’s very true to his sound. You know you love a record when you start trying to replicate the runs and toss in a lil extra 😂. It’s been on repeat for a few weeks now! I love when Musiq asks “Is it pure, is it right?/Is it shade, is it light?” 💙
