I was extremely unsure walking into Dunki, as the trailers did not really interest me and the story was a bit odd, but after seeing it, I was amazed. The storyline was still a bit odd, but it was made in an entertaining fashion and the cast made the film even better. The soundtrack was quite good as well and the emotions displayed throughout were perfect. The pacing was not the greatest and suffered at times, but I still thought the film was quite entertaining and emotional at its core. The comedy was also amazing in the first half and Vicky Kaushal's small role stood out. SRK and Taapsee Pannu were both great in their roles as well, although Manu's character felt a bit underwhelming. I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a nice film with plenty of emotion and good comedy.
