I hardly expected to become as one with a new series so quickly as I did today! Forget the present; forget where I live - the surrounds disappeared, as the realities of what was on the screen came to life! I connected deeply with the very first episode, and I knew right away that the impact of Pachinko would never leave me. I felt as if I were there too. A unique, and brilliantly portrayed story, I adored all the actors, the screenplay, and costumes. Nothing out of place. Thrilling - I can't wait to see the entire series. Best wishes, and congratulations to the entire cast and crew.

The Magic of this Korean Film will forever be stitched into the fabric of my existence! I would find it hard to describe! The impact of this film was significant. Each of the actors in this film gave truly gifted portrayals of the characters they played; the script at once endearing, and filled with a broad spectrum of emotions, especially since it involved the reuniting of family. There is a history that is tragic but we don't focus too much on that era. It is skilfully touched upon by the writers, and portrayed beautifully by the actors. As for Jin-tae, it unfolds that the young brother of Jo-ha, [who plays an ex boxer, who is down on his luck], is a servant virtuoso on the piano. The classical pieces he plays on the piano will blow your mind! I read that the actor, Park Jung-min, took only 6 months to develop this incredible skill that stole into our hearts during the film. There are some great laughs, some tears and full on grief, but whatever comes with this film, I beg you do not miss the opportunity to see it. * Highly Recommended *

I thought this film was simply wonderful! Very emotional, so I had to use my tissues a few times! But a brilliant story, with a great moral and I loved that the ending was filled with a spark of hope. I recommend this film 100%! Lovely actors, and clever swap between reality and fantasy.

I've just finished watching this fabulous movie for the umpteenth time! I love the plotline, music, characters and the entire film is a wonderful amusing funny, and entertaining movie! Everything about it was wonderful. Bravo to everyone including entire production staff; they did an amazing job.

What a fabulous show; I just finished streaming on Netflix! Wild colour, fashion, locations, charismatic actors; storyline - what else can I say?! It was wonderful.... Season 2 must follow (I hope) xo

Well, what a marvellous show! Customer service has all but perished these days, in so many establishments. A personal example was an experience I had while one of my relations from overseas was visiting. We'd gone up town to a local outdoor cafe, to enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat. The place was almost empty so I thought we'd be served fairly quickly! Nearly an hour later, we still did not have our order. I was stunned too when I made mention of how the coffee was so long in arriving, to be told some fabricated 'reason why' by the waiter! Further, the coffee was cold! Seeing Mary Portas being so passionate about the importance of customer service is wonderful indeed. Kudos for a great series!
